This page explains what Match by Intent collects, why it is collected, and how contact details are shared.

Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when creating a profile: email, password through Supabase Auth, first name, age, gender, match preference, city, area, intent, availability, optional note, preferred contact method, and contact handle or value.
How contact details work
Your contact value is not shown directly to another user until a match request is accepted. You choose the contact method. Match by Intent does not require WhatsApp or a phone number.
How we use information
We use your profile details to find nearby people with similar intent, availability, city, area, and compatible match preferences. We also use your account email so you can return and update your profile.
Reports and blocks
If you report or block someone, we store the reported user, reason, optional details, and blocking relationship so we can hide blocked users and review safety issues.
Third-party services
Match by Intent uses Supabase for authentication and database storage. If you choose to connect through Instagram, Telegram, Snapchat, or WhatsApp, those services handle interactions under their own policies.

This policy is written for the MVP and should be reviewed before a public launch or production use.
